Description for B&B:
Originally from northern France, we began our journey in business in the picturesque countryside where we created a small enterprise. Living in this area, we have accumulated countless anecdotes and have fond memories of the vibrant city of Lille. However, our desire for new experiences led us to Touraine, where we immersed ourselves in the enchanting chateaux, exquisite wines, and delicious cuisine for a decade. But why stop there? We have now settled in Aveyron, in our charming 18th-century house, surrounded by our beloved and faithful animals: Ustou, our loyal dog, Fidele, Mireille, and Santiago, our donkeys, and Dracula and Snow White, our lovable dwarf goats. Not to forget Cotton and Mistigri, our two cats, and of course, our hens and rooster.Nestled at an elevation of 930 meters above sea level, our tranquil abode offers respite from pollution, noise, and stress. The house exudes serenity and an air of mystery, as if the ancient structures surrounding us could reveal the secrets of their hidden treasures. Does this region, yearning to be explored, still hide abandoned treasures within the walls of Mas Bertrand? Does the enigmatic presence of the Black Prince, who once caused disturbance in these lands, still linger? And what about those occasional slamming doors? Do they transport us back in time? Come and join us on a journey to uncover the rich history of this region, Rouergue. During your visit, we will regale you with ancient tales of the land, offer a tour of our impressive historic barn, and allow you to bask in the breathtaking beauty of the Tarn Valley. And of course, we cannot forget to savor a delightful meal together.
