Situated on Barthelasse Island, at the base of La Cité des Papes, the Domaine de Rhodes is a historic hunting lodge dating back to the 16th century. Once a thriving vineyard, this charming property offers a unique and tranquil retreat. With six holiday rentals nestled within a two-hectare park, guests can choose from a variety of accommodations.

The main house features an apartment for four people, boasting a contemporary design, as well as a studio with charming decor. For a more intimate experience, three small cottages and a gypsy caravan, each accommodating two people, are located near the inviting swimming pool. These accommodations provide comfort and simplicity, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

The expansive park, adorned with ancient plane, cedar, and pine trees, offers a serene atmosphere for relaxation. Directions

Traveling by car:

To reach Avignon from Lyon, Marseille, and Nice, take the A7 motorway and exit at Avignon Nord (exit 23). Then, follow the signs for Avignon Centre.

If you are coming from Montpellier, take the A9 motorway and exit at Remoulins (exit 23). From there, follow the signs for Avignon Centre.

Once you have reached Avignon Centre, cross the Daladier bridge and the first arm of the Rhône. Then, take a right towards the Barthelasse Island. Be aware of a fork and make sure to take the second right, which leads to the Rhône (road sign: CD 228). Follow this road along the Rhône for approximately 2 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit and follow the signs for "Domaine de Rhodes" for another 2 kilometers.

Traveling by train:

If you are arriving at Avignon TGV station or Avignon Centre station, it will take approximately 15 minutes to reach your destination.

Traveling by plane:

If you are flying into Avignon Caumont airport, it will take around 25 minutes to reach your destination.

For those arriving at Marseille Provence airport, the travel time to Avignon is approximately 1 hour.

If you are flying into Nice Côte d'Azur airport, it will take about 2 hours and 15 minutes to reach Avignon.
