Birch Cottage is conveniently located only 30 minutes away from Inverness and its airport. Within a short drive, you will find an abundance of breathtaking scenery, including Applecross, Gairloch, the Black Isle, Glen Affric, and Ullapool. For those interested in exploring further, the famous Kyle Line, which starts in Inverness and stops at Garve before reaching the Kyle of Lochalsh, is easily accessible. Additionally, the beautiful Isle of Skye is just over an hour away by car. For the more active guests, there are plenty of Munros (mountains) right on our doorstep to conquer.

In the surrounding area, you will also find distilleries, castles, and museums to satisfy your cultural interests. In the evening, return to Garve and indulge in a delicious evening meal prepared by our experienced chef, Ray, who has 35 years of culinary expertise. Please note that we do not have a liquor license, so we kindly ask you to bring your own beer or wine to accompany your meal. Payment in British pounds sterling is appreciated.
