Located just 7km from Narbonne, the Duff family welcomes you to their fully renovated XIX century maison de maitre vigneronne with a beautiful swimming pool. Choose from three guest bedrooms, each featuring an en-suite bath or shower room. Feel free to enjoy the garden, complete with a secure swimming pool and barbecue area for your grilling needs. Start your day with a delicious breakfast served in either the courtyard or the salon de chasse. Private parking is available in our cave, or if you prefer, there is a village house for 4-6 people directly opposite. Cuxac d Aude is conveniently situated for exploring the area, with Narbonne just 10km away and the Mediterranean beaches a short 25-minute drive. Don't miss out on visiting the Cathare castles, the Cite of Carcassonne, and the famous canal du midi. With vineyards surrounding the area, such as Corbieres and Minervois, there is plenty to see and do during your stay.

Village House

This village house has been beautifully renovated in a charming Mediterranean style. Located in a peaceful area on the outskirts of Cuxac, it can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people.

The house features 2 double bedrooms with 140cm beds, as well as a mezzanine with 2 single beds. The bedrooms are conveniently situated on the ground floor, along with a bathroom and separate toilet.

On the first floor, you will find a spacious dining room and sitting room adorned with a fireplace (wood provided). The fully equipped kitchen is also on this level. Double doors lead out to a lovely terrace, complete with a barbecue and terrace furniture.

If you're planning to stay longer, this gite is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area. Just a short 20-30 minute drive away, you'll find the stunning coastline and beautiful beaches. There are also numerous cycling and walking routes to enjoy, as well as the famous Canal du Midi. History and culture enthusiasts will appreciate the abundance of sites to visit, such as the Cathar castles and Carcassonne, all within an hour's drive.

If you're in the mood for a winter getaway, we are conveniently located just over 2 hours away from the Pyrenees ski slopes.

Directions

To reach our destination, start by exiting the autoroute du Sud A9 at junction 38. Then, head towards Carcassonne on the ring road N9, following the signs to Beziers. Once you reach the 4th roundabout, take the last exit onto D13 towards Cuxac d'Aude. In the village, you will notice a boulangerie on your right. Opposite the boulangerie, take the turn towards Salleles. At the Hotel de Ville, make a left turn and continue for 200m until you see our signpost indicating rue du Bac on your left. Follow this street, and you will come across another sign for Maison Pelissier. Parking is available in the cave opposite the house.
