The city of Jonzac Montendre is situated close to historical sites and sandy beaches. Both cities offer a variety of shops, bars, and restaurants. Additionally, the beautiful beaches of Royan, St George Didonne, and Angouleme are less than an hour away, as are the historic cities of Cognac, Saintes, Pons, Meschers, Talmont, Royan, and Bordeaux.

We warmly welcome you to Domaine for any occasion, whether it's a family reunion, stage performance, party, birthday, or wedding. The village hall is at your disposal, providing the perfect space for gatherings.

Sunflowers Cottage can accommodate up to 12 people and offers a spacious living room with a TV and DVD player, as well as a fireplace for cozy winter evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. There are four bedrooms, including one on the ground floor and three on the first floor. The cottage also features a large bathroom with a walk-in shower on the ground floor, and a bathroom with a bath on the first floor. Two toilets, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum are also available. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. Prices per week range from 900 euros in low season to 1900 euros in high season.

Le Petit Chai Cottage can accommodate 5 to 6 people and is a converted wine store. It offers a comfortable living room with a TV and DVD player, along with a fireplace for winter evenings. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, and microwave. The cottage has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with three single beds. There is also a possibility of an extra bed in the living room. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and there is one toilet, a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and vacuum cleaner. Outside, there is a terrace with a barbecue and garden furniture. Prices per week range from 600 euros in low season to 1000 euros in high season.

In addition to the cottages, we also offer two charming guest rooms called Clelia and Le Boudoir. Both rooms are located on the first floor of the main house. We also offer a host table upon reservation, where you can enjoy delicious meals made with fresh ingredients from our garden.

During your stay, you will have free access to the garden, as well as the 12x6 meter fenced-off pool. There is also an indoor games room with table tennis, darts, pinball, billiards, and fitness equipment. Outdoor activities include a badminton court and various games for children. We provide bikes for adults and children, as well as golf clubs if you wish to play golf in Montendre. The nearby village also offers a tennis court and boules, which are available for free. Additionally, there are opportunities for fishing, hiking, visiting the nearby lake, kayaking, and enjoying the spa.

Pets are allowed in the cottages, so you can bring your furry friends along for a memorable stay.

Location and access:

Chaunac is situated approximately 10 km away from Jonzac Montendre and 60 km from Angoulême. It is also conveniently located 50 km (40 minutes) from Bordeaux.

By car:
To reach Chaunac by car, start from Bordeaux and head towards Angouleme on the A10. Take exit 39B (Angoulême) and then follow the RN10 until you reach the exit for Montlieu-La-Garde, which will lead you towards Montendre. If you are coming from Paris, take the A10 towards Poitiers South and then continue on the RN10 towards Angoulême. Take the exit for Montlieu-La-Garde and follow the signs for Montendre. If you are coming from the west, take exit 37 on the A10 (Mirambeau) and follow the D730 towards Montendre.

By train:
The nearest train station is Montendre, which is 10 km away from Chaunac. If you are arriving by Atlantic TGV, you can stop at Bordeaux or Angoulême and rent a car. There is also the option to reach Jonzac or Montendre by TER.

By plane:
The closest airport is Bordeaux-Merignac, which is located 55 km away (45 minutes) from Chaunac.
