Description for Gite

Surrounded by serene and well-preserved nature, the lodging of the park offers a tranquil retreat. Situated 14 km from the A89, it is conveniently located 15 minutes from Thiers, renowned as the world capital of cutlery, and 30 minutes from Vichy, known as the queen of spas. Additionally, it is only 35 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand, the capital of Auvergne.

This idyllic location is perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation, as well as leisurely walks and exhilarating mountain bike rides (with trails passing by the nearby fountain). Moreover, there are numerous cultural and tourist activities in close proximity.

Our cottage proudly bears the 3 ears Gîtes de France label, ensuring modern comforts for our guests. The accommodation comprises a spacious room with a 160 cm bed and another room with a 140 cm bed and two 90 cm beds. The bathroom features a shower, with a toilet on both the ground floor and upstairs, complete with a washbasin.

The large kitchen opens onto a stone terrace that overlooks the park and twelfth-century chapel. Furthermore, there is a generously sized lounge equipped with a TV, DVD player, and a wood-burning stove that provides a cozy ambiance. The interior boasts natural and ecological materials such as wood, stone, old floor tiles, and wall coatings made from hemp and lime in the colors of Sienna and Havana.

For convenience, the cottage is equipped with modern amenities including a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, hob and oven, iron and ironing board, barbecue, and garden furniture, among others.

Directions

If you are coming from Clermont Ferrand on the A89, take EXIT 29 for Thiers. After passing through the toll booth, continue straight at the roundabout and follow the signs for VICHY for approximately 7 kilometers. Then, take the direction towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX by turning right onto the D85 at the crossroads. After about 500 meters, turn right again and continue on the D64 towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Along this route, you will pass through the hamlets of Marette and Guesles. After approximately 1.7 kilometers from Guesles, look for a sign for Domaine de Montvianeix and turn left onto the paved road.

If you are coming from Lyon on the A89, take the exit for ST REMY DUROLLE at EXIT 30. After passing through the toll booth, take the first right towards PALLADUC. From there, take a left onto the D201 and continue for about 3.3 kilometers towards SAINT VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Then, turn right onto the D64 and follow the signs for ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Be cautious when you reach a junction with the D43, as you need to stay on the D64 and not go towards ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. After passing through the small hamlet of Fagot, approximately 1.2 kilometers after the signpost for Domaine de Montvianeix, turn right onto the paved road.

If you are coming from Vichy on the D906, follow the signs for Thiers. Pass through PUY GUILLAUME and PASLIERES while staying on the D906. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto the D64 towards ST REMY DUROLLE and ST VICTOR MONTVIANEIX. Continue on this road for approximately 8 kilometers, passing through the hamlets of Marette and Guesles. After 1.7 kilometers from Guesles, turn left (look for the signpost for Domaine de Montvianeix) and take the small paved road.
