From Mount Warning to the rainforests of Springbrook Ranges, the scenery is nothing short of spectacular. Located in Crystal Creek, just outside of the historic town of Murwillumbah in the Tweed Valley of Tropical Northern NSW, Hillcrest is easily accessible, being only a 35-minute drive from Gold Coast airport and 75 minutes from Brisbane.

As the first TIC accredited business in the Northern Rivers region, Hillcrest specializes in providing romantic and peaceful getaways for a maximum of three couples. It is the perfect destination for honeymoons or other special occasions, offering peace, privacy, and luxury amenities such as double spa baths, a 12-meter solar heated salt-water pool, full air-conditioning, massage services, and delicious food.

Guests can choose between two air-conditioned Bed & Breakfast suites in a private guest wing of the main residence, or a romantic self-contained Honeymoon Cottage nestled in its own secluded rainforest garden away from the main house. Please note that cooking facilities are only available in the Honeymoon Cottage, as the main house B&B does not have self-catering options.

The two main house guest rooms are equipped with split system air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms (one with a luxury double spa bath), bath towels, pool towels, hairdryers, robes, candles, bubble bath, a selection of toiletries, and in-room TV and DVD players. The private guest lounge provides a stereo system, a library of books, CDs, and DVDs, a stocked fridge, 24-hour beverage-making facilities, and opens to a charming central atrium with a decorative fishpond and resident Green Tree Frogs during the warmer months. The Main House tariff includes an evening port and a full country-style breakfast featuring homemade breads, preserves, and homegrown free-range eggs.

For ultimate peace and privacy, Hillcrest Honeymoon Spa Cottage caters exclusively to one couple. Set in a secluded garden away from the main house, the cottage features a wood-burning fire in the lounge, air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, DVD player, and stereo system with a CD player. The separate queen-sized bedroom leads to a spacious ensuite bathroom with a luxury double spa bath, an oversized shower, a heater, hairdryer, robes, candles, and a selection of toiletries. Additionally, the cottage offers a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size gas stove, microwave oven, fridge, toaster, and all necessary kitchen equipment. Glass sliding doors from the lounge open to a private verandah with a gas BBQ for guests to enjoy a traditional Aussie BBQ. Cottage guests have the option to either self-cater or have their kitchen stocked with breakfast provisions, including Hillcrest's famous homemade bread and free-range eggs.
