It is a renovated farmhouse made with sustainable and traditional materials such as hemp, wood wool, massive timbers, roofing slate, and larch countries. The farmhouse provides the minimum comfort required with its own heating and solar electricity. We have small private rooms, a dormitory for six people, and a collective suite of rooms. On the upper floor, you will find a spacious living and dining area with exposed beams and a wood-burning stove.We offer stays ranging from one to several nights with half board included. Fresh products are delivered on foot 2-3 times a week as needed. This secluded location is situated 300m away from the entrance of the Ecrins National Park, surrounded by picturesque pastures and breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers. Enjoy a unique breakfast experience on the terrace while observing marmots just 5m away. A guaranteed change of scenery awaits you at our farmhouse.

Belle découverte
Après une randonnée dans le toujours aussi bel alpage de Villar d'Arène dimanche 3 aout, nous avons été charmés par ce tout nouveau refuge. Le repas a été excellent, avec un accueil très chaleureux et une chambre familiale pour 4 parfaite pour un couple avec 2 enfants.

Directions
To reach your destination, start by heading towards the hamlet "Pied du col" located between Villar Arêne and Col du Lautaret. Once you reach this hamlet, continue on towards the house "pas de lâne" at the end of the road. From there, follow the vehicle track for approximately 1.5km until you reach the final parking area.
At the parking area, it's time to leave behind your worries, laptop, and iPhone. Instead, equip yourself with comfortable walking shoes, a backpack, and walking sticks, as you'll be embarking on a pleasant hour-long hike along the GR54 trail towards the Col d'Arsine and the lake.
After approximately 50 minutes of uphill hiking, you will reach a ledge where you'll have a clear view of the chalets of "le plan de l'Alpe." From here, it will only take you 15 minutes to reach the chalets.
