This rental villa is conveniently located just a 4-minute drive from the charming village of Lumio and a short 5-minute drive from the beautiful sandy beach of Arinella. The beach also offers a fantastic restaurant that serves lunch and dinner, with candlelit tables set up on the beach for a romantic ambiance.Upon arrival at Villa Lucia, you will immediately feel the special atmosphere of this unique place. The sturdy oak door, adorned with intricately carved wheatsheaves and olives, welcomes you into a recently built villa that has been finished to the highest standards using traditional materials.
The villa features a covered breakfast terrace, leading to a spacious hallway. To the front is a large and inviting sitting room, complete with a coffee table, sofas, and satellite TV/DVD player. Adjacent to the sitting room is a well-equipped kitchen, featuring a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and a family dining table and chairs. French windows open onto the garden on one side, while the magnificent front terrace offers panoramic views of the bay and the ancient citadel of Calvi.
From the kitchen, a door leads to a spacious dining area with a table and chairs, and beyond that is another large sitting room. This room is furnished with comfortable white sofas and chairs, and both parts of the room have French windows opening onto the front terrace. The terrace itself is equipped with a large parasol, table, chairs, a gas BBQ, and comfortable sun loungers.
The ground floor of the villa features three bedrooms, two of which have double beds and French windows opening onto the garden with sea views. The third bedroom is a twin room situated next to a lovely bathroom, complete with a large spa bath, basin, and separate tiled shower. A separate WC is also available on this floor.
An open staircase leads up from the hallway to the master suite, which boasts its own balcony with stunning views of Calvi and the mountains. The master suite also has a spacious bathroom with a spa bath, basin, and WC. Additionally, there is a second balcony at the back of the house, offering fantastic views of the mountains and the picturesque village of Lumio, nestled on the hillside.
The villa's pleasant grounds are enhanced by a 10m x 5m swimming pool, surrounded by an olive grove.
