Situated just outside the city center, Halepa area is conveniently located next to the main Court House of Chania, known as Dikastiria. The Halepa Hotel, originally built in the late 19th Century, showcases the elegant design of the New Classical style period. Once serving as the British Embassy during the era of Cretan Democracy in the late 1800s and early 1900s, this historic building played a pivotal role in Cretan history, witnessing the signing of numerous significant treaties. In 1990, the hotel underwent a meticulous renovation, adding a new wing with 42 rooms while preserving the grandeur of the original structure. Since then, the Halepa Hotel has operated with great success. The hotel offers a variety of accommodations, including 3 Suites and 46 rooms. The Traditional Wing features a VIP Suite and 5 Superior rooms, accessible via an exterior marble staircase. In the New Wing, guests can enjoy 2 Small Suites and 41 Standard rooms, including 3 adjoining Family rooms. Each room is equipped with modern amenities such as a Private bathroom, Hair dryer, Shaver outlet (110/220), Phone, Free Internet access, Music, Satellite TV, Mini-Bar, Central heating / Air conditioning. The last renovation took place in 2005, ensuring a comfortable and contemporary stay for all guests.
