Our holiday accommodation consists of fully equipped 2-bedroom cottages, comfortably accommodating up to 5 people.Immerse yourself in the magic of the forest as you embark on emerald-filled days of forest walks, picnics, and thrilling biking trail adventures. Take a moment to unwind in a hammock or explore the nearby beach and Knysna town, just a short 20-minute drive away. Rejuvenate your senses with a refreshing outdoor shower or indulge in a relaxing soak in the indoor bath. Spend tranquil evenings on the veranda of your chalet, marveling at the sight of birds and buck flocking to the dam for a drink. Forest Edge is located at Lat: -33°5545.8S, Dec: -33.9294027642531; Lon: 22°5618.9E, Dec: 22.9385948181152. It is a 20-minute scenic drive from Knysna, taking you into the mountains and forest. Despite being close to amenities, Forest Edge is far enough away from the crowds, traffic, and congestion.
To reach Forest Edge from the N2 between Sedgefield and Knysna, drive approximately 1.5km west of the Knysna lagoon bridge. Then, turn north onto the Rheenendal road. After driving for 11.5km, you will pass the Rheenendal Petrol Station. Shortly after, look for the Bibbys Hoek sign and turn right. Continue on the dirt road for 2.2km and then make a left turn at the intersection. Proceed for another 1.5km until you reach Forest Edge, which is the last property on this road. Rest assured, the dirt roads are easily passable, even for small cars. At Forest Edge, you can enjoy the ultimate tranquility.
